Forest City is proud to work closely with the Navy to support our residents. We're involved with several programs that are designed to make life easier for our residents and their families as they move in, move out, or deal with the challenges of having a deployed spouse. Below, you'll find a list of those programs and a brief description of Forest City's involvement. Plus, you can download the presentations that we make to our residents.
Relocation Referral Assistance
Forest City is part of a revolutionary new program called the Relocation Referral Assistance Program. It's designed to help service members who’ve received their Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders and need to make the transition from Forest City homes into military housing operated by other companies. Change of Homeport
Forest City knows it can be tough to move to a new homeport but we work hard to make it easier on you. Check out our Change of Homeport presentation to learn about Forest City, our neighborhoods and our amenities.
Smooth Move Workshop
Forest City participates in Fleet and Family Services Smooth Move Workshop every month. We answer any and all questions residents have about the vacating process. We're always sad to see you go, but we want to make sure you have a smooth transition to your next home!
Deployed Spouses Program
Forest City is sensitive to the circumstances of dependents who are experiencing a deployed family member. That's why we offer the Deployed Spouses Pprogram. We'll take care of any backyard landscaping for you and many other personal needs that may arise. We're here to provide you with exceptional service! Call your Resident Services Office for details.
Family Readiness Groups
Forest City supports Family Readiness Groups by making our Community Centers available for meetings. Setting up your FRG in a room is simple and easy. Just have Command write a letter on letterhead saying that the FRG is authorized to hold meetings in the community center you would like, on the day you want it. It also needs to list who is authorized to pick up keys (the person picking up keys must be a Forest City resident) and the type of events being held.
